My first flight training session was incredibly exciting. The weather was not so ideal for a first lesson. Robin, my instructor, decided to do an IFR climb through the clouds layers to reach clearer skies for a better learning experience.

On the way down, Robin gave me a surprise. He asked me to fly using only the attitude indicator and airspeed indicator. My heart raced as I stared at the endless clouds. It was both exciting and a bit scary. With no visual clues, I had to trust the instruments completely. Each cloud we passed felt like a mysterious white wall, making the flight even more interesting and challenging.

Flying through the clouds with only the instruments to guide me was an unforgettable experience. It was a mix of adrenaline and wonder, showing the true beauty and challenge of flying. My first hour in the cockpit was just the beginning of an exciting journey in the skies.
